It's been a long 9 months since I last spoke to you guys on here but so much has happened that my blog has just been my last priority. I'm determined to upload at least 2 posts a month starting from now, I miss writing and i'm hoping this will encourage me to type away a bit more than usual. So what's happened? Is what you're probably thinking. For the end of January and a bit of February I felt quite ill and my asthma was playing up constantly. Also in February I began the process of dropping out of my biomedical science degree. I'm just going to be honest and say I didn't enjoy it, I mean some practical aspects were amazing but it was not the degree for me at the end of the day. However, I'm very pleased to say that i'm three weeks into my Child Nursing degree!! I'm so excited to embark on this career and hopefully work as an intensive care or theater nurse!! It's going to take so much work, motivation, a few long hugs and passion to make it through but if I can survive everything's that happened to me so far, I can definitely make it through this degree! Getting to this point was already a struggle, offers were made and then revoked, false hope was given and alternatives for next year were mentioned and that was just from two universities. So although I got into another university through clearing, it wasn't all smooth sailing. I already feel so much happier where I am compared to how I felt in Coventry, and I love that out of my lecture windows I can see so many forests and the actual countryside rather than bleak buildings.

In between uni courses I worked at B&M for a little while and whilst working here I managed to save and earn enough to buy myself a car! I brought the VW Polo Twist and I've named him Napoleon, he's just the most awesome first car. He's slightly older than most models and so he's needed a little bit of TLC but he's working better than ever now. Ideally I want him to last me the three years i'm studying, which he more than likely will, I just need to pass my test and then I can zoom around the country in him. I also finally have my first passport so now I can fly to other countries which I'm super excited to do, I've already got a list of countries and cities I want to visit.

You may or may not have noticed that I've spiced up my little blog! After two years it was time for a change and I absolutely love my blogs layout and design! I just want to clarify that if you're reading this via mobile then it will look differently compared to viewing this on a desktop. So if you'd like to see my blog in all its glory then just open me up on your laptop/PC. I think having a blog that is aesthetically pleasing will also encourage me in wanting to post more so fingers crossed. I was debating for a long time whether just to start afresh with my blog, i.e deleting all my old posts, changing the layout and design, giving it a theme and what not. But at the end of the day I just wanted to carry on posting and just make a few tweaks here or there. I didn't want to face the regret of deleting them when who knows if one post might help someone else. Another difficult decision was should I carry on with my blog headings in the style of the Friends episode titles. I didn't want to confine my blog to this theme so I changed it too.

This has been a short but sweet post, I didn't want to overwhelm you with too much information, I'll be back in a couple of weeks with another post, make you subscribe to me so you don't miss anything!!

Also let's have a bit of fun, so leave a reply to my post telling me where in the world you're from! I love looking at my blog stats and seeing I have readers in Canada and America!

Thank you for sticking around,

Jen xo
